How to Remote control Your iPhone?

Quick note: Remote controlling your iPhone or iPod Touch requires you to jailbreak your device. Advantages of remote controlling your iPhone: You can use your keyboard to text citizen instead of having to type on that small qwerty touchscreen keyboard, you can play some of the iPhone games on your computer, and much more!

In the app store, there is literally no application that would enable you to control your device via remote control. However, you could remote control only if you jailbreak your device. Jailbreaking your device is easy and easy, but one should be cautious as you may brick your device. Jailbreak will lift many programming limitations. While jailbreaking can open up many doors to heighten your device, it may also void your warranty. So please be sure you are not under warranty.

Program A Remote Control

After jailbreak, you will have to open up Cydia (which should have installed during your jailbreak), and search for the program "Veency". Veency is exactly like any other Vnc program. It runs in the background, and it is able to accept or reject connections upon the user's desire. Next, we would want to install TightVnc or any other Vnc program (RealVnc, etc...) in order to begin remote controlling your iPhone device from your computer. When closed installing, open the program and connect by typing in your iPhone Ip. Once the connection has been initiated, your iPhone device should ask if you would like to reject or accept the connection. Go ahead and accept and enjoy!
